Wembley, North West London - project coordinator

This role was as Project Coordinator reporting directly

Works were successfully completed on site within a
15 month construction period and included delivery
of a new fountain and special effect lighting. This
has created a vibrant and exciting new area. Works
were also undertaken to encompass the ICE protocol.
Delivery of a new 30,000 square metre car
                        park
WildInput worked as a sub consultant to a leading
project management and engineering consultancy as project
manager on the delivery of a new car park. This was
delivered on time and within budget whilst at the same
time maintaining the operating business of a trading
estate. Substantial cost savings were made following
close liaison with the designers and contractor to
                          deliver an innovative surfacing solution.

Demolition of estate in Wembley, London
WildInput acted as client project manager for the
demolition of the former conference centre, exhibition
halls and a 20,000 square foot office building at Wembley.
This role also involved close liaison with the client
and their development teams to ensure that the site
was delivered to a specification which provided the
most cost efficient solution to facilitate future redevelopment.
All works were completed with minimal inconvenience
and disruption to the remainder of the estate which
were in close proximity. This included a hotel, office
block and Wembley Arena and required close communication
with stakeholders throughout the one year project.

                          Façade
reglazing project of an occupied 90,000 square foot
                          office building in Victoria, London.
The building had been served with a Dangerous Structure
Notice as the inclined glazing façade which
had been glazed in toughened glass had a problem with
nickel sulphide inclusion. This caused several panes
to crack and shatter on to the road beneath.
WildInput worked closely with the client’s façade
engineer to deliver an alternative glazing solution.
Extensive pre-contract discussions with a specialist
glazing contractor enabled a reglazing methodology
to be delivered which meant that all tenants remained
in the building for the duration of the works without
any complaint and that the need for road closures was
restricted to the striking of the scaffold. Works were
successfully completed within budget and ahead of programme
and the Dangerous Structures Notice was removed.

Installation of new drainage and underground
                          waste disposal pipework system
WildInput worked as a sub consultant to a leading
project management and engineering consultancy as project
manager on the delivery of a new pipework installation
to facilitate the delivery of a new underground waste
disposal system at Wembley. The work involved extensive
civil engineering works adjacent to an occupied estate
and required close coordination with adjacent development
sites and the estate management to ensure that disruption
was minimised. Works were successfully completed to
enable the public launch of the system.
